抖阴APP导航 to coordinate Russian-African Network University in 2027-2029
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russiahas decided to transfer the functions of coordinator of the Russian-African Network University (RAFU) to 抖阴APP导航 for the next three years. This reflects a recognition of 抖阴APP导航鈥檚 many years of experience in developing international cooperation, implementing large educational projects and interacting with African partners.
In the next three years, Kazan University will have to ensure the further development of the Russian-African Network University as a key instrument for scientific and educational cooperation between Russia and the countries of the African continent. Particular attention will be paid to the launch of new educational programs, the development of academic mobility, the expansion of research consortia, training of personnel for priority sectors of the economy of African states and strengthening partnerships between universities.
鈥淲e view this task as an important government mission aimed at developing long-term partnerships between Russia and African countries in education, science and technology. Our goal is to make RAFU an effective platform that unites scientific organizations, business and government authorities to implement projects that meet the interests of both parties,鈥� said Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev.
He noted that the plan is for leading Russian universities, members of the RAFU consortium, to conduct summer and winter schools, advanced training programs, establish international research teams, develop youth scientific cooperation, as well as support Russian language and promote Russian education in African countries.
For the University, this project is a good opportunity to develop cooperation with universities in all regions of Africa, paying special attention to projects in medicine, engineering, energy, digital technologies, agriculture, ecology, biotechnology, humanities, and social research.
Another issue is to integrate RAFU’s work with the initiatives of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, national projects of the Russian Federation and programs of the African Union, including the implementation of the Africa 2063 Agenda.
Over the years of participation in RAFU, 抖阴APP导航 has formed a wide network of partnerships with African universities, implemented dozens of educational and scientific initiatives, opened a branch in Cairo, annually hosts African students and researchers, holds international conferences, youth schools and cultural and educational events. The new status will allow us to scale up the accumulated experience and bring cooperation to a whole new level.
